This essay reflects on the life and poetry of Haizi, a Chinese poet, exploring themes of dreams, life's meaning, and the pursuit of happiness. It offers a personal perspective on Haizi's impact and legacy.

From tomorrow on, I'll be a happy person Feeding horses, chopping wood, traveling around the world From tomorrow on, I'll care about rice and vegetables I have a house, facing the sea, with spring blossoms —Haizi
Haizi's poetry is like a clear spring, calm yet profound. It doesn't need to be recited aloud, for its beauty lies in the resonance within one's heart. Each line is like a small spring eye, seemingly insignificant, yet containing endless vitality, attracting those who are spiritually connected to pause and reflect.
In that sweltering May, I happened to read Haizi's poetry, and it felt like a cool breeze brushing against my face. We are both young people, walking on similar paths of learning. But Haizi possessed unique talent and deep thoughts about life. He used poetry to express his understanding of the world and his emotions, while also revealing his inner confusion.
Haizi was a dreamer. He pondered the meaning of life, purified his soul for his dreams, and used poetry to communicate with fellow dreamers. However, his inner world was complex and profound, difficult for others to fully understand, even his closest family members.
Haizi's departure is regrettable. He was as brilliant as a summer flower, yet abruptly ended, leaving behind poetry and unsolved mysteries. Regarding his choice, we should neither trivialize life nor deny a dreamer's decision. Everyone has their own life path, and what we can do is respect and understand.
Haizi's poetry and life journey make us reflect on the meaning of life and the courage to pursue dreams. His story reminds us that on the path of chasing our dreams, we should cherish life and maintain curiosity and love for the world.
Haizi, may you rest in peace in heaven. Your poems will forever inspire us to think, to feel, and to pursue our own dreams.
